Nigella Lawson's cooking show 'The Taste' is expected to be canned after its initial 10-part series.
According to figures from overnights.tv., nearly half of the 1.8 million first show viewers failed to return for the second programme of the 'culinary version of The Voice', the Mirror reported.
The hour-long culinary contest has garnered just over 850,000 viewers with some episodes drawing over 100,000 less people than the tally, due to which Lawson and co-judges Anthony Bourdain and Ludo Lefebvre have not been signed up for a return.
However, a Channel 4 spokesperson has said that no decision has been made as yet on scheduling to US version or the recommissioning of the UK series.
