Liam Neeson reprised his role from his movie 'Taken' on 'Saturday Night Live' and jokingly threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin over the military invasion of the Ukraine.
The 61-year-old actor opened Saturday's programme with funnyman Jay Pharoah, as President Barack Obama, and condemned Putin for sending in troops to the Crimea in a parody of his action character Bryan Mills, Contactmusic reported.
The Irish actor in a gruff movie voice said that he got a very disturbing call and Crimea had been taken and he hates it when things are taken.
Neeson jokingly mentioned Putin in context of his movie and added that he has never met the Russian President and doesn't have experience in international diplomacy, but what he does have is a very particular set of skills that would make him a nightmare for someone like him.
Neeson then amusingly added that what he actually meant was that he is an actor in Hollywood with a lot of connections.
