Northeast Fiesta organised at LPU to boost northeast culture

The-two day Northeast Fiesta organized by the Northeast students' organizations in association with MBD Neopolis in Lovely Professional University on Thursday showcased the rich culture and traditions of north eastern states and Punjab

University student said, "I think this place offers a lots of opportunity for us to not only pursue our education but also to get to know different culture between Punjabi and northeast people."

Event Director Abhishek Sharma said, "It is for the first time that an event is organised in Jalandhar themed on exchange of culture between the north east and Punjabi."

"We wanted to promote Northeast culture to the entire world so that we developed further with more students involving in the process of development," General Secretary, Northeast Student Organizations Mandeep Datta said.
