Members of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) today staged a protest outside the residence of Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh with a call to bring the nation's black money back.
An angry protester told ANI, "Rajnath Singh had spoken in public that he will get black money back in India in 100 days. Now those 100 days are getting over, where is the black money that they had promised to bring back to India."
Two months back, Switzerland had reportedly prepared a list of Indians suspected to have stashed un-taxed wealth in Swiss banks and shared it with India giving a major boost to government's fight against black money.
India had also constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe cases of alleged black money of Indians, including funds stashed abroad in places like Switzerland.
However, in an assembly session held last month, BJP MP from Godda, Nishikant Dubey stated that we (BJP) cannot bring back the black money from Switzerland in this lifetime.
