Oasis has topped the list of Triple J's hottest 100 songs of the last 20 years with its 1995 hit 'Wonderwall', beating The White Stripes and Jeff Buckley.
More than 940,000 people voted to select the best song in the last 20 years, in the competition that triggered a twitter debate on what song should have been on the top and what shouldn't, News.com.au reported.
Wolfmother, Silverchair, Daft Punk, The Offspring, Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Radiohead and Muse were some of the well-known artists who got a place on the list.
