The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday arrested Odisha Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Pramod Panda after questioning him for allegedly deriving undue financial benefits from Artha Tatwa (AT) Group in Odisha chit-fund scam.
The AT Group is said to have collected several crores of rupees from lakhs of investors in Odisha.
Earlier in August this year, the CBI had raided about 50 locations in Odisha in connection with the chit fund operations of the AT Group.
