Oliver Platt to star with Naomi Watts in 'Shut In'

Oliver Platt along four others has been cast in Naomi Watts starrer upcoming project 'Shut In.'

The EuropaCorp and Lava Bear Pictures' thriller project, which recently began filming in Montreal, is being helmed by Farren Blackburn from a Black List script by Christina Hodson, Deadline.com reported.

Other stars added t the cast include Charlie Heaton, Jacob Tremblay, David Cubitt and French actress Clementine Poidatz.

The film centers on a widowed child psychologist, played by Watts, who resides in an isolated existence in rural New England, and when she's caught in a deadly winter storm, she must find a way to rescue a young boy before he gets lost in it.

The film has been slated for February 2016 release.
