Olivia Wilde marks 'World Down Syndrome Day' with awareness video

Olivia Wilde has joined hands with her 'Meadowland' director Reed Morano to bring up a very powerful PSA about Down syndrome to life, to mark the 'World Down Syndrome Day' on March 21.

The nearly two-minute clip, titled 'How Do You See Me?' helps raise awareness about the genetic disorder by illustrating how those with Down syndrome perceive themselves and are perceived by others, reports E! Online.

In the video, the 32-year-old actress acts out various hobbies and activities of any young woman's everyday life, with a narrative being provided by Anna Rose Rubright, a 19-year-old New Jersey college student with Down syndrome.

"I see myself as a daughter, a sister, a best friend. I see a person you can rely on. I see myself meeting someone I can share my life with. I see myself singing, dancing and laughing until I cannot breathe. And also crying sometimes," says the young girl while Wilde plays each action out.

Director Morano shared an extract of the PSA on his Instagram handle writing, "Wanted to share a part of a little film that I directed/shot that taught me so much in such a short amount of time about #love. Made with the help of people I love.
