Kerala Chief Minister Oomen Chandy and Governor P Sathasivam on Sunday paid homage to late Kerala Assembly speaker G. Karthikeyan.
Earlier on Saturday, President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the passing away of Karthikeyan saying that he would be remembered as a grassroots leader.
Karthikeyan, who was undergoing treatment for liver cancer, passed away at the Health Care Global (HCG) hospital in Bengaluru earlier in the day. He was 66 years old.
