Oprah Winfrey was reportedly overcome with emotions when talks turned to the acclaimed historical drama '12 Years a Slave' during a recent interview.
Oprah expressed how the movie rendered her speechless, asserting that it was impossible for her to talk about it, PVR Pictures reported.
She said that she can't even talk about it, adding that the movie was devastating.
Set in the 1900's. '12 Years a Slave' is the tale of Solomon Northup, a free black man from upstate New York, who is abducted and sold into slavery.
Facing cruelty at the hands of a malevolent slave owner, as well as unexpected kindnesses, Solomon struggles not only to stay alive, but to retain his dignity.
In the twelfth year of his unforgettable odyssey, Solomon's chance meeting with a Canadian abolitionist will forever alter his life.
