Popular comedian Denis Carnahan, who has recently produced a hit song called 'That's in England' to mock the 'foreign players' selection policies of the English national cricket team, has said that he is mainly targeting the Barmy Army and their exuberance in his new song.
In an exclusive interview with ANI, Carnahan said that for many years, he thought Australia had no answer to the Barmy Army and he wanted to take them head on.
Carnahan's new song 'That's in England' has been uploaded by Cricket Australia on their website and is gaining a lot of popularity.
The comedian also said that he was saddened to see England batsman Jonathan Trott's departure from the Ashes tour due a stress-related illness.
He added that English cricketers would probably get a laugh out of his new song because they have had worse things thrown at them than a bit of musical pantomime.
Carnahan also revealed that Ashes winning English wicket keeper Geraint Jones (born in Papua New Guinea, raised in Queensland, Australia) had tweeted about the song and was happy to hear his hometown of Kundiawa mentioned.
