Sean Combs is teaming up with Oscar-winning director-producer Brian Grazer for the remake of Abel Ferrara's 1990 seminal cult gangster classic 'King of New York'.
The movie is said to have Combs in the lead role, the New York Post reported.
The film, which starred Christopher Walken, Laurence Fishburne and Wesley Snipes, was about a former drug lord who returns from prison to wipe out his competition and distribute the profits of his lucrative operation to help the poor by building a public hospital in a ghetto neighbourhood.
