The Indian Commission has issued visas to the Pakistan blind cricket team to participate in the World T20 Championship which will be played in India.
The visas were issued by the High Commission on Wednesday, Dawn News quoted Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) officials.
The team also received No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from the government, said PBCC General Manager Haroon Yousaf.
The Indian Government has already issued the same.
The PBCC has planned to travel to India on January 28 as the championship begins from January 30.
"The team will receive passports within two days, after which the squad will depart for India on January 28 through Wagah border," he said.
Besides, India and Pakistan, Bangladesh, England, Nepal, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Australia teams would be taking part in the tournament.
Pakistan has already named its 17-member squad for the Second T-20 Blind World Cup commencing in India from January 30.
Mohammad Jamil will lead the Pakistan team while Anees Javed will be his deputy.
The matches will be held in Delhi, Mumbai, Faridabad, Gujarat, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, Andhra Pradesh and Bengaluru.
Former Indian captain Rahul Dravid, who is currently the U-19 and India A coach, is the event's brand ambassador.
