Pak police arrest three suspected terrorists in Karachi

Pakistan police have arrested three suspected terrorists in Karachi for allegedly planning to launch targeted killing in the city during Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to the Express Tribune, the Crime Branch arrested the suspects after an encounter.

The accused were identified as Abdulla Mufti s/o Abdul Majid, Danish Ahmad s/o Zahoor Ahmad and Majeed s/o M Ibrahim.

According to the police, they were involved in target killing, kidnapping for ransom, collecting donations, 'bhatta' collection and financing a banned organization.

Police have found three pistols, three hand grenades and 12 rounds of bullets from their possession.

FIRs have been registered at the Surjani Town Police Station.
