Pak President leaves for Beijing to attend military parade

Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain has left for Beijing to attend the military parade to commemorate China's 70th anniversary of the victory against Japan in the World War II.

According to the Dawn, President Mamnoon will be in China on an official visit till September 4.

Foreign Office (FO) spokesman Qazi Khalilullah said the visit comes after the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The president, along with 30 heads of state, will attend the military parade of China's People's Liberation Army at the Tiananmen Square.
