Reinstated Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Zaka Ashraf's comeback for the third time has reportedly been cut short to just a day as the body currently stands dissolved after losing eight of the 10 Governing Board (GB) members.
The PCB currently stands dissolved after Islamabad Regional Cricket Association (IRCA) president Shakil Sheikh resigned on Sunday to take the total to eight after seven of the GB members had already finished their tenure with the PCB earlier.
According to The Express Tribune, the PCB Patron, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, is likely to impose an ad-hoc set-up and is also likely to announce a new chairman for the PCB.
The Islamabad High Court had restored Ashraf as the PCB chairman after after a decision from Jutice Noorul Haq Qureshi in favour of PPP politician on Saturday, the report added.
