People avoid pals who talk too much about problem romances

People generally avoid friends who talk too much about their relationship problems, according to a new survey.

The poll found that around 50 percent of U.S. adults admitted that they have dodged a friend or family member who won't stop talking about romantic woes, the New York Daily News reported.

Among 25-34-year-old participants, 64 percent admitted to steering clear of a pal for this reason.

The study by professional services website Pearl.com, who conducted the survey of 1,000 adults, found that 18-34-year-olds said their top three dating issues were deciding when to stay and when to bail on a relationship- 44 percent, trying to get over an ex- 35 percent, and figuring out whether somebody has been unfaithful- 34 percent.

It was found that 30 percent said they prefer taking an advice from a female friend, as their family members are the most likely to give bad dating advice.

Meanwhile, 44 percent said that if the sex was bad in their relationship, they would bring up the issue with their partner, while 39 percent said they'd keep quiet.
