Periscope has introduced a new feature called Couch mode.
According to The Next Web, the new mode allows the users to quickly browse videos on Periscope just like they would when watching TV.
The users can try it when they go to periscope.tv/couchmode. It is at present available on the desktop but it still displays videos in portrait mode.
In addition, there is a small arrow in the top right to forward the users along to a new video. They do not get to decide where the next video comes from.
The users can watch a an nonstop loop by just appending the URL with 'd=30' and it will switch every 30 seconds. It looks like the users can decide any timeframe they like.
Periscope has not announced this as a core feature yet.
