It's just been a few hours since America got its 45th President, but it looks like friends and well-wishers have already started gushing over Donald Trump.

The United States, along with the rest of the world, woke up shocked to the news that Hillary Clinton was swept away on the battleground and Trump had clinched victory to make him the next President of the United States of America.

Renowned journalist and friend Piers Morgan took to social media, first thing in the morning, to tweet about the elections result.

"BREAKING NEWS: Donald Trump is the new President of the United States of America. Official," the 'Good Morning Britain' host wrote on his Twitter handle.

A little later, Morgan posted a photo of the news on TV that shows Trump addressing the crowd after his big win.

"(President) Trump already sounding calmer, less confrontational & more inclusive. Augurs well," he captioned.

Back in September, Morgan officially became one of the Republican candidate's celebrity supporters when he reportedly endorsed 'Team USA' in the Ryder Cup in a bizarre video.

Meanwhile, with Trump confirmed as the next president of the USA, there are a lot of celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Cher, Bryan Cranston, Amy Schumer and more, who have legit plans to leave the country after having previously declared they'd quit the country if he won.
