Priyanka Chopra's hit track 'In My City' has been chosen as the National Football League's theme song.
NFL coordinating producer Brian Lockhart asserted that it was the former Miss World's vocals and not her looks or international fame that forced NFL execs to put her in the lineup.
Lockhart said that the song spoke to them before they knew the full parameters of what Chopra brought to the table, adding that the song was a "perfect fit".
Chopra, who was born in India but raised in Queens, was recently launched as the new face of American clothing brand Guess.
