Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe has revealed that the new political front formed in the country with the United National Party will present a five-point master plan for Sri Lanka's development.
According to Lanka Page, Wickremasinghe said a general election is being held to elect a new parliament while safeguarding the law and order for the first time in a decade.
The Prime Minister's comments came as he addressed an election campaign meeting held at Bulathsinghala in Kalutara.
He also said that all measures will be taken to ensure free and fair elections on the 17th of August.
