Key ministers of the NDA Government, including Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister Manohar Parikkar and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj are holding a crucial meeting at the North Block here on Thursday to draft a response to Pakistan's allegation of an Indian manufactured drone being brought down on its soil, as also on the ceasefire violations that have taken place in the last 24 hours.
Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval have also joined the meeting.
India had earlier in the day lodged a protest with the Pakistan High Commission and the Pakistan Foreign Office over the ceasefire violations in Jammu and Kashmir's Akhnoor sector.
In response, Pakistan's Foreign Office summoned Indian High Commissioner Dr. T.C.A. Raghavan to lodge strong protest over an air space violation in the Banchirian Sector yesterday.
