Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Sunday address two rallies in Krishnanagar and Kolkata in poll-bound West Bengal.
The Prime Minister's first address will be at Nadia district's Krishnanagar, which is likely to begin at around 3.30 p.m., while the second one will be in West Bengal's capital city.
Prime Minister Modi took to Twitter to convey this information.
"Leaving for WB. Will campaign in Krishnanagar, Kolkata. Do join in large numbers. You can also watch on your mobiles http://nm4.in/dnldapp," he tweeted.
The Prime Minister had during a rally on April 7 in West Bengal's Madarihat launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on several issues, including the collapse of an under construction flyover in North Kolkata's Girish Park area.
He also took a jibe at Banerjee for failing to attend meetings called by the Centre, saying the TMC supremo does not attend important meetings, but definitely visits Congress president Sonia Gandhi on her visit to Delhi.
Meanwhile, the second phase of the West Bengal Assembly elections began today amid tight security arrangements. 383 candidates, including 33 women, are in the fray for the 56 seats spread in seven districts.
Polling for the third phase is scheduled for April 21, fourth on April 25 and the fifth and six phases on April 30 and May 5 respectively. The counting of votes will take place on May 19.
