PM to hold meeting with infra ministries to set targets for sector
Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will hold a meeting of key infrastructure ministries here today to discuss the targets to be achieved in these infrastructure sectors for the year 2013-14 and finalise them.
The meeting will be attended by Ministers of Railways, Road Transport and Highways, Shipping, Civil Aviation, Power and Coal.
The Prime Minister had followed the same practice last year in which a meeting was held on the targets for 2012-13, which were then finalized and announced.
This year also, the Planning Commission has done the preparatory work in finalizing the targets for 2013-14. At the end of this meeting, the targets would be formally announced.
