Poppy husk worth Rs. 2 crore seized by Haryana Police from Kurukshetra

Haryana Police has seized 18,928 kilograms of poppy husk worth Rs 2 crores in the international market from a house in Kurukshetra district.

The confiscated poppy husk was stored in 487 gunny bags, reports quoted Haryana Police authorities, as saying.

The police has also recovered two country-made pistols, 21 live cartridges, red beacon light, number plates of five vehicles of Punjab and Haryana, weighing machine and packaging material from the spot.
