A new California bill, if passed, will make it mandatory for the pornstars to wear protective eyewear such as goggles, while they film hardcore sex scenes
An updated draft of Bill AB 640 is not only going to prohibit state-wide performers from ejaculating onto the genitals, mouth or eyes, but would also require employers to provide "barrier protection" eyewear as well, the New York Daily News reported.
The bill, currently awaiting review in the senate, will "prevent contact of an employee's eye; skin, mucous membranes, or genitals with the blood or OPIM-STI of another".
The bill comes after condoms were mandated during filming of vaginal and anal sex scenes in Los Angeles County, to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.
