A Singaporean man, with an unusual superhero-like name Batman bin Suparman has been jailed for stealing his brother's ATM card.
Batman bin Suparman, which stands for Batman son of Suparman in the Malay language, has been sentenced for two years and nine months for various offences, including stealing his brother's ATM card to make withdrawals, the New York Daily News reported.
The 23-year-old man had also broken into a firm's office in western Singapore to steal money and taken heroin.
He has his own personal fan club on Facebook as he became a social media sensation, after an image of his identity card with his name was circulated online.
