President Mukherjee extends Independence Day greetings to Maldives

President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday extended 50th Independence Day greetings to Maldives.

"Warm greetings to Govt and people of Maldives on their Independence Day and completion of 50 years as an independent nation," his office tweeted.

"This year marks the golden jubilee year of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Maldives," he added.
