England have not played well in this series and Australia deserve to win the Ashes, but we must stick together and come out fighting, wicketkeeper Matt Prior has said in his column.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Prior said that there were no excuses from the team, as they had not been doing good enough and finished third in a two-horse race,
As a team, this is the lowest point and it is tough at the moment to stomach and England will be criticised of course and rightly so, Prior added.
England will fight back in this series and that will start in Melbourne, Prior further said.
Prior also congratulated Australia, saying that they bowled brilliantly and squeezed England.
