Congress leader and sitting Member of Parliament (MP) Priya Dutt on Tuesday filed her nomination papers from Mumbai North-Central, and sought to downplay as to about her competitor in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
"We are always together in the Congress. I do not wish to comment on who is my competitor. If I think so much, then I will not be able to do my work. I really want to focus on the elections. It is the public who will decide at the end who wins. She asserted that Muslims are with the Congress," Dutt said.
Dutt will take on Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate Abu Farhan Azmi, the son of Maharashtra MLA Abu Asim Azmi and BJP's Poonam Mahajan, daughter of Pramod Mahajan for the seat.
