The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has once again issued a notice to batsmen Khalid Latif and Shahzaib Hassan over their alleged involvement in spot-fixing during the recently-concluded second edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The Notices of Demand have been issued under Article 4.3 of the PCB Anti-Corruption Code and require both cricketers to appear before the PCB Security and Vigilance department for interviews relating to investigations into the spot-fixing scandal.
While Latif has been asked to appear on April 26, Hassan's interview has been slated to be held for April 27, the Dawn reported.
Earlier this week, the PCB had submitted all the supporting evidence against Latif before the Anti-Corruption Tribunal.
Both Latif and Hassan, two of the five cricketers accused in the PSL spot-fixing scandal, were provisionally suspended by the PCB earlier and have already been questioned by the anti-corruption tribunal.
Meanwhile, the PCB had last month imposed a year-long ban and a fine of one million dollar on left-arm pacer Mohammad Irfan for violating its anti-corruption code during the PSL which took place in early March.
Besides them, two other players namely Sharjeel Khan and Nasir Jamshed were also suspended for their alleged involvement in the infamous spot-fixing scandal.
