Russian President Vladimir Putin having denied allegations about stealing the 'Super Bowl Ring' has reportedly suggested an idea of making another ring, a luxury piece which would make the New England Patriots forget the old one.
Putin has suggested getting the Patriots made a replacement to the old ring, made of quality metal and with a stone, so that piece will be passed from generation to generation in the team, and they will forget about the previous one, ABC News reports.
According to the report, Robert Kraft claimed that Putin took his Super Bowl ring after he showed it to him during a visit to St Petersburg with other business leaders in 2005.
At the time, Kraft had said he gave the ring to Putin as a gift.
When asked about the ring, Putin said that he does not know either the ring or the owner Kraft but only remembers some 'souvenirs'.
The report said that the ring contained 124 diamonds weighing over4.9 karats and is worth over 25,000 dollars.
