Famed Queen Guitarist Brian May has revealed that he has been undergoing "urgent tests" to check if he has cancer or not.
The 66-year-old rocker, who went to the doctor for hip pain where they discovered "abnormalities in his bones", wrote on his site that from Christmas he has had a succession of blood tests, ultrasounds and scans, to see if doctors could rule out various kinds of cancer, the Daily Express reported.
May added that on hearing the 'C' word something happened inside him and his dad lost his battle at age 66, exactly the age he is now.
After receiving well wishes and greetings from his fans, May said that he was feeling "cautiously optimistic" and is set to go for another scan soon for more information.
