Marvel Studios' is reportedly eyeing Rachel McAdams for the female lead opposite Benedict Cumberbatch in superhero epic 'Doctor Strange.'
If the reports are true, the 36-year-old actress would join a stellar cast which also features Tilda Swinton as mentor the Ancient One, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as sorcerous nobleman Baron Mordo, the Guardian reported.
Though she had confirmed to be in talks, she had mentioned it was too early to tell how things were going to turn out.
Cumberbatch was cast in the lead back in December for the Scott Derrickson directed film, the screenplay for which was penned by 'Prometheus's Jon Spaihts.
The superhero had first appeared in July 1963 in issue 110 of comic book 'Strange Tales.'
The film has been slated for November 2016 release.
