Left-arm pacer Rahat Ali has put Pakistan in a commanding position after demolishing England's top order in the second innings on Day four of the opening Test here at the Lord's Cricket Ground on Sunday.
In their chase of 283 to win, England made a slow start as skipper Alastair Cook and opener Alex Hales were dismissed for mere eight and 16 runs respectively.
James Vince was the lone batsman who stayed for a while and made 41 runs before getting caught at the slips at the bowling of Wahab Riaz.
Rahat Ali scalped three for 36 in his quota of eight overs.
At the time of reporting, England were at 98-4 and required another 185 runs to win the match, with Jonny Bairstow (2) and Gary Balance (20*) at the crease.
Earlier, Pakistan were bundled out for 215 in their second innings after Stuart Board bagged the last two wickets of Yasir Shah (30) and Mohammad Amir (one).
For the hosts, Chris Woakes was the pick of the bowlers as he finished with the figures of five for 32.
