Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Centre and Odisha Government, saying there is no focus on healthcare and education in the state.
"There is no focus on healthcare and education by the state government. There is no shortage of money in Odisha. The chief minister is not thinking about the future of Odisha," Rahul told the media after his visit to the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Hospital.
"I have visited this hospital so that the government focuses on the healthcare and education in the state," he added.
The Congress vice-president had yesterday lashed out at the BJP-led NDA Government for the country's farm crisis as he launched a "save farmer march" in Odisha, which is saddled with a string of peasant suicides.
More than 3,600 farmers, including 474 women, had committed suicide in Odisha since 1999.
