Ray Parker Jr not happy with 'Ghostbusters' reboot theme song
Ray Parker Jr, original 'Ghostbusters' theme singer, revealed that he is less than impressed with the new 'Ghostbusters' theme by Fall out Boy and Missy Elliott.
The singer behind the Grammy-winning 1984 original was left "wishing the filmmakers had called him" after hearing new version "Ghostbusters (I'm Not Afraid)" from Paul Feig's all-female reboot, reports the Independent.
"I wish they had called me to maybe work with some of the younger guys and help them get a direction. I'm not going to say it's good or bad. I'm just going to say, 'Well, maybe I'm an old guy now, and I like it the old way'," he told.
