Kim Kardashian, who took a mini hiatus from Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat since her robbery ordeal in France, recently returned to social media in a photo post with close family member Caitlyn Jenner.

The 36-year-old star posed for an Instagram photo with Jenner, who captioned it as, "Happy birthday Kim! Love you."

The reality star is completely makeup free and has ditched her trademark bling which is believed to have made her a target for thieves in the lead up to the robbery on October 2, when she was tied up and robbed at gunpoint in her hotel apartment.

Following this, the "shaken" reality queen shunned all forms of social media and completely removed herself from the limelight as she tried to recover from the traumatic experience.

The last time the fans sensed Kardashian's presence on social media was when she tiptoed back on Twitter to minimize the numbers of accounts she was following.

The stepfather, who now identifies as trans woman, reportedly has been quite concerned about Kardashian's mental health following the "terrifying" experience.

"A lot of people just think about the Kardashian family is like these people that are just in make-believe land, but if you imagined yourself in that situation, sitting in a room, and having that happen to you, it's terrifying," a close friend of Jenner's said in a statement.
