Earlier, the 27-year-old cricketer took to his Instagram account and posted a snap with 'Shame' written on it. In the caption he criticised the people, who have been trolling his alleged former girlfriend and blame her for his performance.
The 'Ki and Ka' star took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "U gotta respect @imVkohli as a person for his post today... @AnushkaSharma is the most decent and correct person and she deserves respect !!"
Anushka and Virat, who were rumoured to be dating each other since long, called it quits last month.
