Retired Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has said that he is planning to spend more time with his family now that he has retired as they had waited 24 years to spend some time with him.
In an exclusive interview with CNN, Tendulkar said that it is now time for him to give back to his family all the love and attention that he has failed to do all the years while he had been playing and be them for them for every special occasion.
According to the Little Master, he feels terrible that his family sacrificed so many things for him, adding that he had missed out on his children's various birthdays, annual days, sports days, anniversaries due to his busy and demanding career.
However, Tendulkar expressed pride in the fact that his family has been very patient with him, especially his daughter and son, for 16 years and 14 years respectively.
