The Beatles' former member Ringo Starr, who is all set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist, joked that it was high time that he was inducted.
The 74-year-old musician told ABC News that it was beautiful to be inducted and it was something for him to look forward to.
The Brit drummer continued that that it was former band mate Paul McCartney who informed him that he was getting the honor.
The Beatles' other band mates namely John Lennon, McCartney and George Harrison were recognized for their solo careers in 1994, 1999 and 2004, respectively.
