Ringo Starr has been announced to be new face of 'Skechers,' it has been reported.

The footwear brand recruited the 74-year-old drummer to appear in their Relaxed Fit Footwear campaign, People magazine reported.

The 'Slow Down' artist would be the first musician to appear in this commercial series, which previously focused on athletes like Joe Montana, Mark Cuban and Joe Namath, however, this wouldn't be his first time modeling in the fashion world.

The company stated that Starr, who gained worldwide fame as the drummer for 'the Beatles,' possesses the charm, cool charisma and instant global recognition that would elevate awareness for their popular Relaxed Fit footwear collection.
