The son of British rock legend Rod Stewart has reportedly been selected to play ice hockey for Great Britain.
According to the Mirror, the 18-year-old Liam Stewart has been given special dispensation to play for Great Britain at this year's Under 20 World Championship as he was born in London even though even though he was not trained in the UK.
Stewart junior, who is the son of the rock legend with his former wife and actress Rachel Hunter, was raised in Los Angeles and is currently preparing for his third season with Spokane Chiefs in the Western Hockey League, a feeder league for the top-flight National Hockey League.
The call-up will mean a return to his father's beloved Scotland, as the tournament is being held in Dumfries, the report added.
