Australian Test batsman Chris Rogers has said that he knows his position in the team will remain safe only if he keeps on piling on the runs.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Rogers knows he is only one form slump away from having the door closed for good on his Test career.

He said that he knew he was at the back-end of his career, but it has been the best part of his career, adding that he is doing everything to make it last.

However, Rogers was coy regarding what changes he had made to combat Swann's off-spin, the report said.
