Nico Rosberg emerged as the fastest driver in the final practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix on Saturday.
The German driver finished 0.051seconds ahead of Red Bull's Max Verstappen, while reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton was eighth after a disastrous session, Sport24 reported.
Hamilton, who missed half a session with a technical problem on Friday, struggled in the third and final practice as he locked his left front wheel on a number of occasions at the same part of the track.
Meanwhile, Ferrari Kimi Raikkonen finished third ahead of Verstappen's teammate Daniel Ricciardo and four-time champion Sebastian Vettel.
Rosberg, who won the previous two races in Belgium and Italy, is currently trailing Hamilton by only two points.
