Former Formula One (F1) driver and BBC F1 co-commentator David Coulthard has stated that pressure on Nico Rosberg would be greater than on Lewis Hamilton in Abu Dhabi, where drivers' championship title would be decided.
Coulthard believes that Mercedes is likely to finish one-two in Abu Dhabi and title would go to Rosberg only if he wins the race and Hamilton fails to secure a podium finish. According to him, Hamilton deserves more of the championship more as he has won double the amount of races of Rosberg, The BBC reported
However, he also stated that this claim cannot be considered as detrimental to Rosberg as he has done exceptionally well both in terms of driving and the manner in which he has conducted himself as he helped Mercedes to thrive for five years. He has helped Mercedes to thrive for five years and gave Hamilton a run for his money, he added.
