Eminent artist, philanthropist and award winning sculptor Rouble Nagi is looking forward to welcoming and hosting international Bahraini artist from Bahrain over an evening at a multi-cultural arty affair connecting creative enthusiasts from India and Bahrain through an unparalleled programme of artist interventions.
Under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of The King of Bahrain and President of The Supreme Council For Women ArtBab (art bahrain across boarders) brings together an amalgamation of Bahrains premier contemporary artists, sculptors and photographers.
Rouble Nagi says, "This initiative aims to give a platform to Bahraini artists, exposing them to local and international aspirational values.We live in a global world today connected by the internet to people living thousands of miles away. The history of art proves that cultural exchanges occurred for millennia .In fact ,the intersection of cultures has provided fertile ground for artistic inspiration and creativity. Art,I believe, reflects cultural evolution and progress of a nation."
The works presented by Bahraini artists will be curated by the Dr. Alka Raghuvanshi. Kaneka Subberwal Project Director ArtBab stated, we are happy to be bringing 30-35 works of Bahraini artist to Delhi and Mumbai and looking forward to a wonderful response.
This is an unprecedented opportunity for Bahraini artists to display their artistic products for local, regional and international audiences against an ideal environment to learn, interact and exchange ideas and experiences.
