American designer, Betsey Johnson, had no idea who Maria Sharapova was, when she attended a charity fashion show hosted by her.
The 72-year-old designer attended Fashion Targets Breast Cancer at the New Museum and was heard asking who the star was when an organizer grabbed her to take a photo with Sharapova, the New York Post reported.
Johnson was also heard saying that she thought it was going to be Serena Williams, as she knows her, after posing for the snap.
Sharapova had earlier recieved a lot of backlash via social media when she stated that she didn't know who Sachin Tendulkar was.
