Superstar Salman Khan has agreed to become the brand ambassador of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) Open Defecation Free drive and has also pledged to donate five mobile toilets for the same.
Recently, the 'Sultan' star attended the launch of the campaign where Salman said he was glad to be a part of it through his 'Being Human' foundation and would try to dissuade people in Mumbai about open defecation issue.
"I have often witnessed people defecating in the open and have always wanted to do something about it. I heard about the BMC's efforts to rid the city of open defecation and thus thought of making a contribution," said the 50-year-old.
On the work front, he will be next seen in Kabir Khan's 'Tubelight'.
