Jahanabad MLA Veena Patel said Saturday that differences between Samajwadi Party (SP) founder Mulayam Singh and his son and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is an internal and family matter, and that would be resolved soon.
"Mulayam will give the orders and we will follow that order,"
Talking to ANI Patel said, "We have no problem. on Mulayam Singh will handle everything. Whatever problems have occurred, it is their internal matter. So, it will be solved. I strongly believe that Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Samajwadi party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav are same".
Another Samajwadi Party leader Juhi Singh told to ANI, "It's not only a personnel loss but also, a big loss for the Party. It is sad and really unfortunate that Mulayam expelled Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav from the party for six years for indiscipline".
Meanwhile, Mulayam Singh Yadav has called a meeting of all 393 candidates today.
Akhilesh, too, has also convened a meeting of MLAs as a showdown against his father to establish that the majority of Samajwadi Party MLAs are with him.
Mulayam yesterday expelled Akhilesh and national general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav from the party for six years over indiscipline.
This move comes after Akhilesh had released a list of 235 candidates out of the total 403 seats for upcoming state assembly elections on Thursday, rejecting the list announced by Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday.
Akhilesh's name did not figure in the first list. Mulayam said his son being the Chief Minister, can contest from any assembly seat he wishes to.
